As a lifelong learner and educator, I'm keenly aware of the gap between secular education and Christianity. Although I obtained a master's degree in education, I lacked the skills needed for an inner-city high school environment. I was far from perfect, but God came through and left a legacy of successful stories, all of which are true. The stories inside this book highlight many beautiful students who entered my classroom and my heart.

I’ve always loved stories; whether I tell them, read them or listen to them. They paint a vivid picture in my mind and reside in my heart. I’ve experienced God and His love, His word and truths through pictures. That’s how I write. My hope is that the reader can further experience God’s intimate love through these “Love Letters from Papa.” May they speak volumes to you, and may you experience more deeply His intense and unending love for you.
